2 Tough and Crazy people get together and consider life. They contemplate the STARS. they ride in a Star Wagon and at night they stand on top of the Hill with all the sky above them. In Kalang and Armidale – they see them all again. The Stars and the Moon and the Sun rising in the morning.

The hills step off into whiteness.

People or stars

Regard me sadly, I disappoint them.

The train leaves a line of breath.

O slow

Horse the colour of rust,

Hooves, dolorous bells —-

All morning the

Morning has been blackening,

A flower left out.

My bones hold a stillness, the far

Fields melt my heart.

They threaten

To let me through to a heaven

Starless and fatherless, a dark water.

– Sylvia Plath, Sheep in Fog

good friends are like stars; you don’t always see them, but you know they’re always there”
