2 Tough and Crazy people get together and consider life. They contemplate the CLOUDS. Which have been present for MONTHS. Drought broken. Green and Grey all summer time. It was sunny in Armidale and sunny in Kalang. Here it is cloudy. Grey skied. And Wet. And we will have to move. So we will.
fflys.gif It was the noise Of ancient trees falling while all was still Before the storm, in the long interval Between the gathering clouds and that light breeze Which Germans call the Wind’s bride.
Charles Godfrey Leland

I ‘member times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin;
But all at once the dark clouds broke
And light peeped through again.

douglas novack said… inspiration is like the clouds in the sky; some people see great images in the clouds and some people just see the possiblity of rain….. The clouds are always silverer on the other side of the fence

Behold, he cometh up as clouds,
And his chariots are as the whirlwind;
His horses are swifter than eagles–
Woe unto us. We are undone. Jeremiah 4:13

I live far off in the wild
Where moss and woods are thick and plants perfumed.
I can see mountains rain or shine
And never hear market noise.
I light a few leaves in my stove to heat tea.
To patch my robe I cut off a cloud.
Lifetimes seldom fill a hundred years.
Why suffer for profit and fame?

In nubibusIn the clouds

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.

The mountains, I become part of it.The herbs, the fir tree, I become part of it.The morning mists, the clouds, the gathering waters,I become part of it.The wilderness, the dew drops, the pollen…I become part of it.~Navaho ChanT
